Traditionalist Ray Scott To Release Guitar For Sale In June

Artist: Ray Scott
Album: Guitar For Sale
Label: Jethropolitan Records
Release date: June 9, 2017

Traditionalist Ray Scott has successfully run a PledgeMusic campaign on his next album and will release Guitar For Sale on June 9 on his own Jethropolitan Records.

From Rolling Stone: "For those who lament the modernization of country music, Scott is a welcome throwback to a time when drinking songs were about hard liquor, not spiced whiskeys, and when heartbreak was dealt with not by tweeting a sad-face emoji, but by taking a trip off the deep end."

Ray began his music career by writing songs back in the early 2000's, and landed two chart hits as a songwriter: "A Few Questions" by Clay Walker and "Pray for the Fish" by Randy Travis.

He eventually signed to Warner Bros. Records as a singer in 2005, releasing the album My Kind of Music. Following that release, Ray Scott became an independent artist and producer, releasing his second album, Crazy Like Me, in 2008, Rayility in 2012 and lastly the self-titled Ray Scott in 2014.
